Behind the scenes, we power our operations with a custom-built tech stack that includes a proprietary backend system, a SaaS platform, mobile app integrations, and multiple WordPress-based websites. The Role

We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to help us build, maintain, and optimize our web applications, tools, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is experienced in both front-end and back-end development, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys working on a diverse range of projects — from enhancing user dashboards to improving site performance and deploying cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications
  • Build and maintain APIs and backend systems, primarily using Laravel (PHP)
  • Implement mobile-first, modern UI designs using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Optimize websites for speed, technical SEO, and user accessibility
  • Manage and monitor hosting environments, cloud infrastructure, and deployments
  • Ensure application uptime, security, performance, and scalability
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and customer support teams to deliver new features and resolve issues
  • Maintain code documentation and follow best practices in Git workflows
  • Integrate third-party services such as Stripe, CRMs, and messaging APIs
  • Conduct regular quality assurance testing and use debugging tools to identify and fix bugs

Back-End:

  • PHP, Laravel
  • MySQL databases
  • API development and integration

Infrastructure & DevOps:

  • AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode
  • Managed WordPress hosting (Kinsta, WP Engine, Cloudways)
  • DNS and domain management, Email DNS (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Backup automation, deployment pipelines, disaster recovery plans

Performance & Security:

  • Caching: Redis, Memcached
  • CDN Integration: Cloudflare, Bunny.net
  • Security hardening: XML-RPC blocking, brute-force protection, CHMOD settings

Monitoring & QA:

  • UptimeRobot, Pingdom
  • Query Monitor, WP_DEBUG, server logs

Other Tools We Use:

  • GitHub for code and documentation
  • Slack and Asana for team communication and task management

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Familiarity with SEO basics and schema.org
  • Experience designing gamified features or interactive tools
  • Understanding of text message-based review systems or CRM integrations
